Loving the Lexus LF-LC

Toyota has done it again with yet another jaw dropping concept car: the Lexus LF-LC.  They dazzled us with the LFA supercar a few years ago, and now a new out-of-this-world design has been released from their studio in Newport Beach, CA.   The concept first made its debut at the Detroit Auto Show along with the new Honda NSX.  And it's quite the looker.

It's clear some styling cues were taken from the LFA, which was a brilliant move on the part of Lexus. I can't stop looking at this thing, it's sleek, sexy, and futuristic, exactly what the cars of tomorrow should be. Speaking of which, Lexus say this is the direction they plan to take all their cars, and I definitely like what I see.

As it stands however, this automotive bombshell is just a fleeting fancy, Lexus has not discussed any plans for production.  I suppose that's okay though, while they're thinking about it, we can enjoy drooling over the LF-LC just the way it is.

In case you missed it or want to see it again, here's a video of the official unveiling.  Start watching it at 1:27 if you just want to skip to the good part!

I had a feeling 2012 would be a good year for the auto industry, this just confirms it.  Hopefully more stunning concepts are on their way!
